Research interests

  • Strongly-correlated quantum materials correlated electrons in solids, unconventional superconductivity, frustrated quantum magnetism and spin liquids, 2D materials, ultracold quantum gases
  • Quantum phase transitions and emergent phenomena Dirac matter and materials, quantum criticality, dualities and emergent gauge fields
  • Quantum field theory and renormalisation group methods functional and perturbative renormalisation, non-perturbative renormalisation group, connections between quantum many-body methods
  • High-energy physics Higgs physics, vacuum stability, asymptotically safe quantum gravity
