Am I allowed to attend the defense?
Members of the doctoral committee and faculty members of the Department may attend the defense. Subject to available seating, research assistants and doctoral candidates from the Department may also attend as observers, provided the candidate has not objected to the presence of observers (§ 10(4) PromO 2011).
