The Ministry of Culture and Science offers young researchers the opportunity to return to NRW and establish a junior research group.

Since 2007, more than 50 young scientists have been able to establish a successful junior research group through the return program of the MK NRW. The RUB call is aimed at scientists who have been conducting research in the field of quantum technology abroad for at least 12 months and would like to return to Germany.

Are you conducting research abroad in the field of quantum technology? Are you considering returning to Germany? The NRW Return Program offers postdocs • the opportunity to establish and lead an independent junior research group at a university in NRW • a personalized funding commitment of up to 1.25 million euros for a period of five years • attractive career prospects In total, the NRW Return Program supports up to six researchers.
