On December 14, the Department Physics and Astronomy invites you to a special Advent edition of Saturday Morning Physics: Prof. Dr. Judith Golda will set up her experiment table and take us on a journey to a winter wonderland. From snow flurries to candlelight, there are several phenomena in nature that are worth taking a closer look at: Is it the magic of the Advent season, or “simply” physics?
Everyone who finds the small and big questions of our universe just as exciting as we do is cordially invited.
When? On 14.12.2024, 11 am.
Where? St. Paul's Church in the city center of Bochum, Grabenstraße 9
Admission is free. From 10:30, the student council will provide visitors with waffles and coffee.
Saturday Morning Physics takes place on four Saturdays in the winter semester 24/25. Information on further lectures can be found on the SMP website.
