We invite female students in grades 8 to 10 to our physics project week during the Easter holidays. From March 30 to April 2, 2026, the young researchers can choose between three exciting hands-on workshops:
The workshop "The Colors of the Stars" takes participants on a journey of discovery through the universe. In "From Plasma to Gold Plating," participants try out how luminous gases are used to gold-plate objects. The workshop "Physics in Medicine" shows how X-rays and ultrasound waves are used in diagnostics.
In addition, participants can look forward to laboratory tours, a sample lecture, lunch together in the university cafeteria, a visit to the Bochum Planetarium, and many other highlights.
