The Ministry of Culture and Science offers young researchers the opportunity to return to NRW and establish a junior research group.

Since 2007, more than 50 young scientists have been able to establish a successful junior research group through the return program of the MK NRW. The RUB call is aimed at scientists who have been conducting research in the field of quantum technology abroad for at least 12 months and would like to return to Germany.

You are researching abroad in the field of quantum technology? Are you considering coming back to Germany? The NRW Return Program offers postdocs - the opportunity to establish and lead an independent junior research group at a university in NRW - a personal funding commitment of up to 1.25 million euros for a period of five years - an attractive perspective for the future The NRW Return Program supports a total of up to six researchers.
