Young scientists have many different roles: They are part of different teams while simultaneously managing projects, their careers and personal lives. Developing an understanding of their own personality, goals and strengths, as well as those of others, helps them to navigate group dynamics and contribute to a respectful and productive work environment.
In this workshop, participants will learn about the phases of group dynamics in different team constellations and how they affect the way teams work. The workshop invites them to reflect on their own personality and the strengths they bring to the team and to explore the role they like to play in groups. At the same time, participants will learn techniques for convening or moderating groups with the aim of creating a respectful atmosphere where synergies can be harnessed to promote successful teamwork to complete their projects or studies.
The workshop is aimed at early career researchers from students to postdocs and will be held in English.
