Research

The Chair of Applied Solid State Physics is involved in the research of semiconductors both with regard to fundamental physical phenomena and the development of innovative devices. There are two - closely related - main fields of work:

The molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) for the fabrication of semiconductor heterostructures and the focused ion beam implantation (FIB) for laterally resolved material processing using ions.
