The new doctoral regulations came into force on 10 October 2011.
The doctoral regulations apply to all new doctoral candidates who have started their doctoral studies after 10 October 2011. Candidates who have already been accepted as doctoral candidates at the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy before 10 October 2011 may complete the doctorate according to the old regulations of 1987.
Important information for doctoral students
Before starting the doctorate:
- Conclude the care agreement
- Apply for admission(information sheet 1)
During the doctorate:
- Attend courses and provide evidence of attendance(form)
- Report annually(form)
- If applicable, apply for cumulative dissertation(information sheet 2)
When the dissertation is finished:
- Apply for admission to the doctoral examination(information sheet 3)
