The new doctoral regulations came into force on 10 October 2011.
These doctoral regulations apply to all new doctoral candidates who began their doctoral studies after October 10, 2011. Candidates who were already admitted as doctoral students to the Department Physics and Astronomy prior to October 10, 2011, may complete their doctoral studies under the old regulations from 1987.
Important information for doctoral students
Before starting the doctorate:
- Conclude the care agreement
- Apply for admission(information sheet 1)
During the doctorate:
- Attend courses and provide evidence of attendance(form)
- Report annually(form)
- If applicable, apply for cumulative dissertation(information sheet 2)
When the dissertation is finished:
- Apply for admission to the doctoral examination(information sheet 3)
