Physikalisches Kolloquium am 08.05.2023: „50 Years of QCD“

03.05.23 | Physikalisches Kolloquium, Veranstaltung

Am Montag, den 8. Mai 2023, um 12:00 Uhr c.t., findet der nächste Termin unseres Physikalischen Kolloquiums statt.

Referent ist Prof. Dr. Eberhard Klempt (Universität Bonn) zum Thema: „50 Years of QCD“.

QCD as theory of the strong interaction was developed in 1972/1973. The QCD Lagrangian looks rather simple but an extremely rich phenomenology evolves from this equation. In the talk, the long path from the discovery of the first elementary particles to QCD will be discussed as well as the first tests to validate the new theory. Selected highlights in strong interaction physics will be presented.

Abstract des Vortrags von Prof. Dr. Eberhard Klempt.

Die Einführung erfolgt durch Prof. Dr. Ulrich Wiedner.
